Patron was born from a conversation between its founders, Madhav and Sukhjinder, centered around the challenges of settling into a new city. Madhav, who had just moved to Regina from Saskatoon, was struggling to adapt to his new environment. Sukhjinder suggested Madhav relocate due to the unsafe neighborhood he had moved into, prompting Madhav to share his unsettling experiences.

Madhav had arrived in Regina during the peak of winter and had booked a place online without knowing the area. On arrival, he found the accommodation in poor condition and was forced to find a new place late at night. Despite securing a basic furnished room, he soon realized the neighborhood was notorious for crime, leaving him feeling unsafe and isolated.

Sukhjinder empathized with Madhav, recalling his own difficult experience moving to Canada 15 years earlier. Sukhjinder and his wife had faced anxiety and disappointment when their relative failed to pick them up from the airport, leaving them stranded in a new country.

These shared experiences highlighted the need for reliable support during such transitions. Inspired by their struggles, Madhav and Sukhjinder founded Patron to provide seamless support and guidance for anyone moving to a new place, ensuring a smoother and more secure experience.

And thus, Patron was born, turning their vision into a reality and making a difference for newcomers everywhere.
